Dans sa série de peintures intitulées "In / out", Jean-Philippe Brunaud nous propose un voyage, un cheminement qui a déjà commencé et qui se poursuit avec nous, qui se poursuivra après nous, à travers des paysages mouvants, reflets de la vie en perpétuelle évolution, où rien n’est jamais acquis et où la question du choix, du chemin que l’on emprunte, défini la forme de ce qui est à venir, du paysage que nous allons trouver plus loin.

Dans cette nature les espaces se rencontrent. Le devant et le derrière, la surface posée ou l’arraché, le visible et l’invisible, les mystères de l’inconnu, de l’oublié ou du perdu… sont autant de directions possibles pour entamer un dialogue avec nous même.

In his series of paintings entitled "In / out", Jean-Philippe Brunaud offers us a journey, a path that has already begun and that continues with us, that will continue after us, through shifting landscapes, reflections of life in perpetual evolution, where nothing is ever acquired and where the question of choice, of the path we take, defines the shape of what is to come, of the landscape we will find further on.

In this nature spaces meet. The front and the back, the surface laid or torn off, the visible and the invisible, the mysteries of the unknown, the forgotten or the lost... are all possible directions to start a dialogue with ourselves.
